Florence

I took the train to and from Florence and spent two days there. Florence is quite a beautiful place, although in terms of the number of things to see and do I think I preferred Rome. Perhaps that's largely a function of being tired of museums at that point in the trip. :-) The lines at the Uffizi and Galleria del Academi were ridiculously long, and relatively speaking appealed to me just as much as the Borghese Gallery in Rome (which had effectively no wait to get in). I got a chance to visit several nice wine bars in Florence.
