Chocolate Tasting

I got into a chocolate kick for some reason, though I'm not really a chocolate fanatic... I figured, hey, I don't know much about all the dark chocolates out on the market, might as well try them all! So I got a bunch of fellow chocolate lovers together to do so - here's the results!

Mmm... Chocolate...

Chocolove (70%) did suprisingly well... For something so cheesily named, it was smooth, creamy, not really a traditional 'dark' chocolate, but really yummy nonetheless... Green & Black (organic 70%) was also really yummy... Rapunzel (Swiss, 70%) was disliked by most people...

The ones in this photo were ok for munching on... They include Dagoba "New Moon" Rustic Grown Organic (74%), which was, umm, rustic; El Rey "Apamate" Venezuelan Single Bean Carenero Superior (73.5%); Valrhona "Le Noir Amer" (71%); and Sharffen Berger Jamaica a l'Ancienne (71%), which had cacao bits in it as well...

Michael Recchiuti 85% was really good, one of the top three... The others were Michel Cluizel "Grand Amer" (85%), Dagoba "New Moon (74%) and for kicks, Scharffen Berger Unsweetened Chocolate, at 99%...
