Our intrepid adventurers (Jason, Natasha & Dan) get ready for the day ahead...

Here's a picture of the entire raft, courtesy of Hotshots, while going through
Tunnel Chute... This is actually I believe, towards the top middle part of the
chute. Danny our guide is looking into the water, while everyone else (from his left side clockwise, Fry, Dan, Kostadis, Natasha and Jason) looks ahead...

Where am I?!?!?! (Again, courtesy of Hotshots)

Brave people, the ones up front... Dan, Kostadis, Natasha...

Kostadis, Natasha & Jason...

Jason, myself & our guide Danny... He's Irish, by the way...

Jason takes the hot seat for a while...

So far, so good! And this is supposed to be the easy part of the
day...

We uprooted some ducklings to set up our lunch spot... We actually saw a
rattlesnake in the bushes up the hill... Some of our more daring (ok, stupid)
rafters decided to feed it a berry on a stick...

Mmm... Sandwiches...

Right after Chunder, at the top Ruck-a-Chucky Falls... We actually had to walk around, since Ruck-a-Chucky is a class 5.3 rapid... The guides will actually send the rafts down the falls without people in it, then recapture it at the bottom...

You can see the guide standing at the top of one of the rocks at the
bottom of the falls, getting ready...

Woohoo! Diagonal shot! But that's Ruck-a-Chucky... At least the right
channel (all white)... The left channel is kinda in the shadows - it's
a steeper drop, not as much rocks, but still very dangerous...

Fry, our 6th companion rafter... He's from Kansas...

"The water's great!" sez Kostadis & Natasha...

Jason decides to take a swim as well...

Follow the leader!

We survived!

At Murder Burger (ok, Redrum Burger) in Folsom, after a long day...

And the other side of the table...
